Forest Management Trail

To help the viewer better understand many of man's impacts upon the natural forest systems, this 3.5 miles of easy walking, mostly ski trail/forest road , is a must for all school groups.

Forest stand improvement cuttings and thinnings, grazing of excellent range land, evenage forest management, riparian area, and irrigation pond management will give a needed perspective to the uses humans require of our wonderful forests.

This trail also provides the best bird watching on all of Lubrecht Forest.
